Online Spoken English and Math Classes for Students at Avvai Illam, Home and Orphanage in Chennai, India

Vice President of Operations Nisha Kumar conducts an online class on conjugations for students at Avvai Illam.

With the world being brought to its knees among the COVID-19 global pandemic, we at Ace Stem realized the importance of being able to take advantage of our online resources to continue the love for learning that students have all around the world. In a recent partnership with the educational directors at Avvai Illam Home and Orphanage in Chennai, India, Vice President of Operations Nisha Kumar has been taken spoken English and math classes for their students.

Avvai Illam is an acclaimed orphanage in southern India that has been providing a home for orphaned girls and young women. Founded in 1931 by Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy, they aim to provide their girls a strong education and to teach them to live a life of "dignity and self-respect."

Tutors at Ace Stem have been using Prepaze's online learning management system, Unik, an all-inclusive virtual portal that simplifies the online learning experiences for both students and teachers. Our volunteers are able to upload classwork and homework, track progress, and launch the online classes all from one portal page. Learn more about their services here

Ace Stem Organization is honored and humbled to be in partnership with this organization and to extend their teaching services to them. We are excited to continue working with their girls while accentuating the importance of education in everyone's life, regardless of their background.

Ace Stem is continuing to look for online tutors and volunteers. If you are interested in providing your services for students that are a part of our organization, please sign up here or email us for more information at contact@aceacademy.org
